On the 24th of November 2006, Purac Ltd had a change of ownership and a change of name for Purac Ltd.
After thirteen successful years as part of the awg group, Purac’s executive management team has joined with Aberdeen Asset Management, one of the UKs premier private equity companies, to buy the company and take it forward to its next stage of development.
The company’s reputation for reliability, quality and creativity has been built up over many years operating in the world’s water market. Under the new ownership we will be enhancing our services to the water sector and pursuing further growth opportunities in the expanding municipal solid waste and renewable energy sectors.
Importantly for our clients, partners and suppliers, the management team and our staff remain the same as does the substance and culture that underpins the business. We will continue to focus on those elements of the business that have built our reputation to date. Indeed we look forward to continuing mutual success with both existing and future clients, partners and suppliers.
We are also taking this ideal opportunity to change our name to Enpure Ltd, reflecting the company’s growing position and reputation as a key player in the broader environmental sector. We are confident that in no time the Enpure name and brand will have captured all that was Purac and more!
There will no doubt be specific issues with certain clients, partners and suppliers. These will be addressed in a timely manner by ourselves. In the meantime should you have any concerns or require any further information please do not hesitate to contact myself, one of the management team or your usual Purac contact.
